The 99^th session of the Danube Commission (DC) was held on 15 June 2023 at the Danube Commission headquarters in Budapest in hybrid format.

On 6 June 2023, the European Commission (DG MOVE) and the Danube Commission (DC) in cooperation with other stakeholders, organized the online METEET workshop on the climate resilience of inland waterways and ports.

The Meeting of the Working Group on legal and financial issues (WG JUR-FIN) of the Danube Commission (DC) was held under the Chairmanship of the Representative of Germany, Mr Christian Brunsch on 16-18 May 2023 as hybrid meeting.

According to the Work Plan of the Danube Commission for 2023, the meeting of the working group on technical matters took place in a hybrid format on 18-19 April 2023.

The third Expert Meeting on the development of ports and port operations (EM Ports) was organized by the Danube Commission (DC) on 21 March 2023.

The Expert Meeting on Ship-generated waste was held on 9 March 2023 in hybrid format under the chairmanship of the representative of Ukraine.

The agenda, set in accordance with Priority 1a of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region, focused on the cooperation with the EU Strategy and on the status of the Fairway Rehabilitation and Maintenance Master Plan.
