Former Director-General and President of the Danube Commission Hellmuth Strasser passed away

On October 16, 2019 the former Director-General and the President of the Danube Commission, Mr. Ambassador Hellmuth Strasser, passed away at the age of 85 surrounded by his family. Mr. Strasser headed the Secretariat of the Danube Commission in the years 1990-1999 and led the Danube Commission as President from 1999 to 2002.
