Economic analysis was done as one of the activities under the Grant Agreement (GRANT 3) between the European Commission and the Danube Commission, under the title “Technical Assistance grant for the support to the Danube Commission with regard to the development of projects of common interest relating to efficient, interconnected and multimodal networks and infrastructure for smart, interoperable, sustainable, inclusive, accessible, safe and secure mobility on the TEN-T Rhine-Danube Corridor” (Project 101127323 – 22-HU-TG-GRANT 3 – DANUBE), with the goal to identify freight potentials in non-EU countries connected via the Danube and via the ’short-sea shipping’ in the Black Sea, with a special focus on Serbia, Moldova, Ukraine, Western Balkans, Georgia, and Turkey
